Key Features to be modified not junked

Plans to change investment disclosure requirements by replacing the existing Key Features Document and illustration with a new Quick Guide and charges and projection sheets have been shelved. FSA-commissioned research discovered that while consumers favoured shorter, targeted material, free of jargon, their knowledge and understanding of the product was unlikely to be improved by the new format. They would also probably not be persuaded to monitor their investment’s performance into the future any more closely.
