International Standard Banking Practice (ISBP)1 an analysis

Abstract
The long-awaited document entitled International Standard Banking Practice published by the ICC in 2003 clarifies many of
the issues which usually arise in applying the provisions of UCP 500 whether in relation to documents pertaining to letters
of credit transactions or carriage of goods. It is a useful “reference workbook” for bankers in checking documents, but is
not entirely free from comments.
