Willis Japan appoints new executives

Willis has appointed Shoji Ohashi, chairman of Marsh Japan until the end of 2004, as chairman of its Japan operation, Willis Japan Holdings KK. It has also announced that Yoshiki Yamamoto will be the new chief executive. The appointments follow the end of Michael Abbott’s three-year secondment as chairman and managing director of the unit and he is returning to London to take up a new role within Willis International.
