Storms exits Marsh

Marsh has launched a search for a new chief executive following the departure of Brian Storms, who has served in the role for the past two years. Marsh & McLennan Companies announced the departure from its insurance broking subsidiary and said that the group’s president and chief executive Michael Cherkasky will cover the position until a replacement can be found. Mr Cherkasky said that Mr Storms had made an important contribution to Marsh but that “we now need a different set of leadership and operational skills to complete the successful transformation of Marsh”.
