There was no shortage of issues at this year’s Monte Carlo Rendezvous, the annual meeting for the global reinsurance industry which takes place in September. But it is quite safe to say that one particular issue, that of capital market solutions as an alternative to traditional reinsurance capacity, pretty much dominated the conference.
