Crash compensation row

The insurers are believed to be under pressure from the Thai government to raise the level of compensation for aircrash fatalities

The recent air crash in Phuket, Thailand, which killed 89 people, has resulted in some differences between the UK based insurers and the Thai airline company, One-Two-Go. The Thai airline is unhappy with the current compensation offer of $130,000 per victim and is seeking an increase to $150,000.
