RI3K launches messaging service in London

RI3K has completed work on a new message service for the insurance and reinsurance industry. The RI3K Message Service has been designed to exchange placement, accounting and settlement data between brokers and carriers regardless of which back office systems they have implemented. It provides straight through processing to Xchanging and data can be transformed in any format ranging from email to ACORD standard xml. Kewill Systems Plc provided the technology behind the service. Alex Letts, RI3K’s chief executive, said it chose a technology partner because “it was in noone’s interest for RI3K to create its own technology for this crucial part of the market infrastructure”.
