Third-party motor cover not to be denied - IRDA

There are increasing complaints of insurers refusing to issue cover

India’s Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) has once again confirmed that motor third-party insurance cover is mandatory under Section 146 of the Motor Vehicles Act 1988 and that no insurer can refuse to provide such cover.
