SCOR could look to expand on strength of 2005 profits

SCOR saw its net income rise by 75% to €131mn ($157mn) last year. This allowed chairman and chief executive Denis Kessler to suggest that the strategic choices made three years ago – namely following prudent and diverse underwriting policies centred on well-known markets and lines of business – had been correct.
