12.2, crash, fatalities

Dominican Republic: three people, including the pilot, died when the Cessna 172 in which they were flying from the Arroyo Barril airport, in Samana, to the terminal of Herrera in Santo Domingo crashed. One of the dead was the pilot, whereas the two passengers who accompanied him have not been identified. Authorities immediately initiated the investigation in the case. The aircraft was headed to Punta Cana from Santo Domingo. The Dominican Air Force or the Punta Cana airport authorities were likely to launch an investigation into the accident.
