£14,275 damages for vibration white finger

A ground worker has received £14,275 compensation following the development of vibration white finger. He was awarded the compensation from two former employers. He used pneumatic drills and jack-hammers continuously and was not made aware of the dangers of using such tools or given adequate protective equipment. He used vibratory tools for up to 10 hours a day. There was never any job rotation, and no anti-vibration equipment was provided.
