Soft tissue injury to hand
A bus driver has received £6000 compensation after suffering a soft tissue injury to his left hand. He slipped on a wet floor
at the bus terminal. He put his left hand out to save himself, but he hit the doorframe of the canteen door dislocating his
left little finger and suffered a soft tissue injury to his left hand. There were no warning signs in place to warn anyone
that the floor was wet. His fingers were strapped together for six weeks. The defendants had claimed the floor was dry, as
their cleaner had removed the signs once the floor had dried, and had blamed wet weather.
