Driver in trapped finger award

A driver has been awarded £3663 compensation following injuries sustained in an accident at work. He was delivering fridges to a recycling centre in Islington when his finger became trapped in the tail lift of his vehicle and he sustained injury. He was off work for over two months. His employer denied liability. His lawyer said that he was left by his employers to do a two-man job single-handedly and the result was the injury.
