£158,000 for widow of mesothelioma victim

The widow of a watch repairer has been awarded £158,000 after he died after developing mesothelioma. He had spent almost all his working life as a watch repairer. He worked for a firm of jewellers and the workshop he worked in contained untreated asbestos sheeting used as fireproofing. He was there when the fireproofing was installed and he swept it every week for many years afterwards.
