£5.48mn for cerebral palsy
A teenager is to be awarded a compensation package of nearly £5.5mn after a series of failures during his birth left him severely

breathing, leading to him suffering a circulatory collapse when he was just one day old. An independent medical expert stated
that his care at the hospital “went from sub-standard to abysmal.”
