Increase in Scottish workplace fatalities
Statistics released by the HSE (Health and Safety Executive) have revealed a major increase in the number of reported fatalities
occurring in the Scottish workplace. The number of fatalities in Scotland rose from 15 in 2003/4 to 36 in 2004/5, an increase
of 140%.
