Widow of mesothelioma victim wins £120,000

A widow has won £120,000 compensation for the death of her husband who died through working with asbestos. He worked as a shop fitter in a factory where asbestos sheets were cut by machine, releasing clouds of asbestos dust and fibres into the atmosphere. He was given no protection and as a result he contracted mesothelioma. His widow sued her husband’s former employers.
