£1.32mn in damages for operation injury

A man who suffered brain damage during an operation has won £1.32mn in damages. The man was injured during an operation for sinusitis when his brain was accidentally cut into. The man now suffers from poor eyesight, memory and concentration. His wife was originally told by doctors that he had suffered a stroke during the operation. The surgeon only admitted that the brain damage was caused by him after the legal action commenced.
