Teacher wins discrimination case over back injury

A teacher has won £7,500 in compensation after she was discriminated against by her school. The teacher suffered a back injury and her doctors recommended a number of changes to her work conditions when she returned to work. The school did not make the changes and she took the school to industrial tribunal. The payment was made in an out-of-court settlement and the school admitted that she should have been treated as disabled.
