Icy fall injures foot
Icy fall injures foot
A woman has received £3,400 in an out-of-court settlement from a shopping centre after severely injuring her foot slipping
on black ice at work. She fractured her right foot whilst working as a visual merchandiser for a department store. She fell
down some icy concrete stairs at the back of the store building and was unable to work for seven weeks. The centre accepted
full liability for the incident.
