£4mn for brain damaged road accident victim

A teenager left with permanent brain damage and physical disabilities after a road accident has been awarded £4mn in compensation after a four-year legal battle. She was hit as she crossed the road by a speeding car. The road also had several warning signs about nearby schools and children using the road.
