Compensation for stressed Royal Marine

The Ministry of Defence has paid out a six-figure sum in compensation to a former Royal Marine who developed post-traumatic stress disorder. In 1989, the soldier witnessed the bombing of the Royal Marines’ School of Music which left 11 bandsmen dead.
