Latex allergy nurse wins £350,000
A woman who developed a life-threatening allergy to latex while working at two different hospitals has been awarded more than
£350,000. The court added £114,193 worth of punitive interest on top of an original award for compensation of £240,000. It
also refused permission for the NHS Trust to appeal against either the interest or compensation award.
