Eye surgeon wins claim for eye injury
An NHS Trust has been found liable for an injury caused to an eye surgeon. The injury to his retina was caused by a faulty
laser. The surgeon is claiming provisional damages on the basis that his eyesight is not materially affected and he can still
work but experts are agreed that the condition develops slowly.
