Murder witness wins damages
A man who witnessed the stabbing to death of an inmate at a young offenders institute has been awarded damages. The man was
working at the institute as a chef and was the only witness to the murder. The man had to seek medical help and give up his
job. The Prison Service made an out-of-court settlement.
