US risk retention groups grow

The 16th annual survey of US risk retention groups (RRG) by the Risk Retention Reporter has revealed that the RRG annual premium for 2003 is projected to grow to $1,725.5mn, an increase of $460.4mn (36.4%) over 2002 premium, which grew 34.0% from 2001. Premium increases are projected for almost all business areas, with healthcare in the lead with an increase of almost 55%.
