Adjudication, excess of jurisdiction and natural justice

In Westgreen Construction Ltd v Kiryukhina [2026] EWHC 2189 (TCC), O'Farrell J held that the claimant was entitled to summary judgment in order to enforce the decision of an adjudicator. She rejected the defendant's submission that the adjudicator had acted in excess of his jurisdiction or had breached the principles of natural justice. She also held that the defendant was not entitled to a stay of enforcement. In so concluding, O'Farrell J upheld the robust approach taken by the courts to the enforcement of the decisions of adjudicators.
