Time charterparty - Calculation of freight - Application of formula - Rectification - Common mistake - Unilateral mistake

The claimant, Briety Shipping Inc, a Marshall Islands company, owned Tenergy, a liquified natural gas (LNG) carrier built by Hyundai in South Korea. On 21 July 2020 Briety signed a five-year time charterparty (TCP) with Trafigura. The initial period was due to end in January 2027, although Trafigura had an option to extend the period of charter.
