The Maritime Code of the People's Republic of China
It was first adopted at the 28th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the 7th National People's Congress on 7 November 1992. The amended Maritime Code was passed at the 18th session of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress on 28 October 2025, which shall come into force on 1 May 2026.
