Net loss of time clause

3.1 Net loss of time clauses

The net loss of time clause is the most commonly used clause and can be found in the NYPE 1946, Baltime, and Shelltime 4 forms. The charterers will only be entitled to place the ship off-hire for the time actually lost during the period that the full working of the vessel is prevented and the vessel is unable to provide service as required immediately.
