CHAPTER 17 Any other events

17.1 Requisition

As discussed in Chapter 2 and with the NYPE1993, NYPE 2015, Boxtime 2004, Shelltime, and Gentime forms, requisition by the government is an off-hire event. Thus, if the vessel is requisitioned by the government or governmental authority or the vessel's flag during the period of the charterparty, the vessel shall be deemed to be off-hire during the period of such requisition.
