Injunctions to prevent foreign proceedings and procedures
12.01 General
Previous chapters have examined the options available to the party who, when proceedings against him have been brought in an English court, would prefer the proceedings to be brought somewhere other than England. It is now necessary to examine steps which may be taken by a party who is, or who fears, being sued before a foreign court and who considers that proceedings brought against him in that foreign jurisdiction should not be taking place there.
