37.1 This chapter is intended to cover the cases decided by the English courts on this form, and on other tanker time charter forms. Tanker charter cases have therefore been included below even where they have already been dealt with in the earlier chapters of the book. The chapter takes the Shelltime 4 form as its framework. The Shelltime 4 form was first issued in December 1984. It was amended in December 2003. A further version numbered 1.2 was published in March 2017. This last version, which remains the latest iteration, is reproduced both below and at F5 in the Forms section at the end of this book.
