Interview with Carol Adams

Professor Carol Adams is a chartered accountant with a difference. Eschewing a career in business, Carol obtained a Masters in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics, and a doctorate in international corporate reporting from the University of Glasgow. Since then she has become globally renowned in her specialised field of sustainability. Currently emeritus professor of accounting at Durham University Business School and chair of the Global Reporting Initiative's (GRI) Global Sustainability Standards Board (GSSB), she is also chair of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland's (ICAS) Sustainability Committee.
