Interoperability of ISSB standards

The two days of the IFRS Foundation Conference in June 2025 included a number of breakout sessions on a range of topics related to the work of both the IASB and the ISSB. One session was of particular relevance to this edition of WAR as it covered the interoperability of European and ISSB standards, and included an update on the ISSB's collaboration with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), which features in more detail in WAR's interview with Dr Carol Adams, who is chair of the standard-setting board of the GRI.
