Streamlined claims payment process

The Government has streamlined the process for making payments into court to settle a claim in a move designed to encourage the early settlement of claims. High Court actions payments are made direct to the Court Funds Office, but in county court actions payments were made to the court, and then passed to the Court Funds Office if, 21 days later, they had not been accepted.
