‘Tonight Show’ star settles mould case
Ed McMahon, the former sidekick on the US ‘Tonight Show’, has accepted a settlement in a toxic mould lawsuit. He accepted
$230,000 to settle the case from a clean up contractor. This was the last of a number of lawsuits issued by McMahon after
moves to clean up his house after a flood resulted in toxic mould which made him and his wife sick, forced them from their
home, and killed their dog. In total, he sued an insurer, two insurance adjusters, and various clean-up contractors, for a
total of $20mn, all of which settled with him.
