Plastic cargo threat to Cornwall coast

Salvors have been struggling to remove a cargo of shredded plastic from RMS Mulheim which ran aground between Sennen and Land’s End. The cargo, 2,200 tonnes, was destined for a landfill site. Conservationists said that the non-biodegradable plastic could pose a lethal threat to wildlife.
