Stress means higher risk of stroke

Highly stressed people have an 89% higher risk of dying after a stroke compared, and those who felt stressed on a weekly basis also had a much greater risk of a fatal stroke. Danish researchers said that this may be because stressed people have other cardiovascular risk factors, such as high blood pressure, doing less exercise, and being heavy drinkers and smokers.
