Schools sued by dyslexic

Two education authorities are being sued for negligence by a man who says his school failed to spot that he had dyslexia. The 28 year old man, whose dyslexia was not spotted until he was 16, says that his employment prospects were affected by it, and resulted in emotional and psychiatric problems. He claims that his parents raised concerns with the school over his reading which were ignored. Defence lawyers are said to be trying to prevent the damages claim coming to a full trial because of excessive delay.
