Tribunal makes third decision in 15 days to cut fines on individuals

In a third judgment in just over two weeks, the Upper Tribunal has upheld prohibitions on individuals but substantially reduced the fines imposed by the FCA.

In the latest case, three traders at Mizuho International plc saw their bans retained by the chamber but two of them had fines reduced by 56 and 42 per cent. The latest finding follows those relating to Jes Staley and two former Metro bank directors.
