As allergy rates surge, litigation risks are rising sharply. While food businesses face the most direct exposure, many other sectors – such as professional services firms hosting catered events – must also be alert to the risks. Even trace allergens can trigger severe reactions, with food allergies doubling in the past decade alongside growing legal obligations.
