Emissions tool

ClassNK has released new features related to FuelEU Maritime and EU-ETS for its greenhouse gas emissions management tool "ClassNK ZETA". ClassNK ZETA is a tool for visualising GHG emissions and CII ratings of ships and supporting management of EU-ETS and FuelEU Maritime and is used for more than 5,500 ships. For example, its pool optimization feature aims to make it easier for companies to explore the best path toward FuelEU Maritime compliance: depending on each ship's current compliance surplus or deficit, it recommends the optimised combination of banking, borrowing and pooling to optimise compliance costs.
