I Introduction

An anti-suit injunction is an extremely useful, and at the same time quite a delicate, tool in the armoury of the court for the provision of judicial certainty and access to justice. Due to its distinctive nature and exceptional character, it has become a sensitive issue in judicial and arbitral practice, and also in legal theory.
