11.1.1 The constitutional structure of Indonesia

The Constitution is a legal instrument that is very important and must exist in a country, where it will serve as a guideline or basis for every implementation of state life and as a limitation on the power held by the authorities in carrying out their duties in the country. Indonesias 1945 Constitution is the State Constitution which was officially ratified on 18 August 1945 and has been amended four times in which there have been many changes to the constitutional structure in order to achieve a more effective presidential system.
