Insurers warning over Product Liability Directive revision

Insurance Europe has warned the European Commission that its proposal for a revision of the Product Liability Directive (PLD), and its proposal for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Liability Directive would negatively impact the availability of insurance “and would therefore not meet its intended purpose of enhancing consumer protection while encouraging innovation.”
