The future of learning in the maritime sector

John Lloyd, of The Nautical Institute, considers the changes to teaching and learning that have emerged in 2022 and how the landscape will alter in the future

Much of everyday life was turned on its head during the Covid-19 pandemic and it is perhaps only now that we are able to take stock and analyse the impact of what happened, what improvements we were able to make and how we have opened new ways of delivering learning opportunities to our maritime community. One thing is certain - some of the changes that took place have been very beneficial and are with us to stay.
