Hearing loss threat for teens from headphones

More than 1 billion teens and young people globally are potentially at risk of hearing loss because of their use of headphones and earbuds and attendance at loud music venues, according to analysis published in BMJ Global Health. The researchers said governments around the world need to urgently prioritise “safe listening” policies to safeguard aural health.
