Safety at sea – Inspection of vessels – Corrective Measures – International Convention for Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS Convention) 1974 – Port State Control Directive, European Parliament and Council Directive 2009/16/EC

This was a reference to the Court of Justice of the European Union from the Italian courts for a preliminary ruling on the proper interpretation of European Parliament and Council Directive 2009/16/EC (as amended by European Parliament and Council Directive 2017/2110/EU) on port state control, and of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1974 (the SOLAS Convention).
