Civil Justice Council’s costs working group consultation paper

The Civil Justice Council (CJC) has published its Costs Working Group Consultation Paper setting out the questions to be considered and explaining the context in which they arise. Their consultation follows the Master of the Rolls asking the CJC in early 2022 to take a strategic and holistic look at costs, particularly given the ongoing transformation of civil justice into a digital justice system.
